Christ in You the Hope of Glory

About Us

Christian Living Ministries is a non-profit discipleship ministry, dedicated to the welfare and spiritual advancement of the Body of Christ.  CLM is comprised of believers who have voluntarily come together through the fellowship of their life in Christ.  CLM has been challenged to address the haunting question - "What is the Christian Life and how do we live it?"

It is the desire of Christian Living Ministries to bring every believer to an understanding and assurance of who they are in Christ and what they possess in Him.  We believe that Jesus Christ, and His Life that resides within every believer, is the source of all spiritual, and emotional healing.  It is the aim of CLM to be of assistance to those who are experiencing spiritual hunger and long to know the Lord Jesus as their very Life.

Christian Living Ministries functions as a support ministry, to the Body of Christ, by hosting discipleship training, Bible studies, conferences, counseling and other outreach endeavors.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe that the Bible is the inerrant, inspired Word of the living God.  The Bible is the final authority on all matters of life, faith, and practice (II Tim. 3:16).  The maxim of biblical interpretations is:  "Scripture interprets Scripture."

We believe Jesus Christ was born of Mary, a virgin, and is the Son of God (Luke 1:27,35).

We believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures (I Cor.15:3) - the Just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God (I Peter 3:18). God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself (II Cor. 5:18-20).

We believe that Jesus Christ arose from the grave the third day according to the Scriptures (Acts 10:39,40).

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the One and only Great High Priest (Heb. 3:1) and we need not the intercession of any man, but that Christ ever lives to make intercession for us (Heb. 7:25).

We believe that Jesus Christ will come again in person - bodily, and visible - to establish His Kingdom on the earth (Acts 1:11).

We believe that because of Adam's rebellion against God, all men are born in sin and are spiritually separated from God (Rom. 5:12). Mankind must then be spiritually re-birthed of God for their enternal salvation (John 3:3).

We believe that by His Life that is birthed in the believer, Jesus Christ keeps secure those who are truly born again (John 10:28).

We believe that the Church is a body of believers whose mission is, "not to reform the world," but to preach the transforming Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to the individual person ( IICor. 4:5), that through the new birth, they would come to know, "Christ in you, the Hope of Glory." (Colossians 1:27).
